TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR WEB SCRAPING / DATA EXTRACTION / WEB CRAWLING

In this document, we provide our Terms & Conditions in relation to web scraping, data extraction and web crawling (Terms or Agreement) that you must read and accept before downloading, installing or using the ‘ReceiptJar App’ (App) (a product of Feedmee App Pty Ltd t/a The U Group & Co (ABN 68 610 817 831) (U Group)). Please read these Terms carefully before downloading, installing or using the App.  

As part of your use of the App, U Group intends to utilise web scraping, data extraction and web crawling practices to automatically extract and collect data from third party online marketplaces that you may access and purchase products from (User Data).  By downloading, installing and using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and U Group’s web scraping, data extraction and web crawling practices. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download, install or use the App. You agree that by downloading and installing or using the App, you automatically acknowledge and agree that you have read these Terms, understand them, and agree to be bound by them. 

Agreed terms

1. PRIVACY POLICY

U Group respects its user privacy and takes its obligation to protect your privacy and personal information seriously. We operate our service under the Privacy Policy published at https://www.receiptjar.com/privacy-policy. We strongly recommend you to read this policy now and continue to read it at your convenience as the policy is updated from time to time. By downloading the App, you agree that we may collect, use and disclose your information and User Data as described in the Privacy Policy and you warrant that all information and User Data provided by you is accurate.

2. USER DATA

You agree:

• to promptly provide us with all information (including log-in details and passwords) that we reasonably require to access the User Data directly from the relevant market place; 

• to allow U Group to automatically retrieve (through web scraping, data extraction and web crawling practices) User Data from your system(s) or third-party system(s) / services / sites on your behalf;

• that you have the permission, authority, and rights to use the App to access and/or to allow U Group to automatically access such system(s) / services / sites and retrieve User Data from them; and

• that your use of the App will not violate any terms of service, agreement, privacy policy, or any implied statements from any third party.

3. REPRESENTATION AND WARRANTY
You represent and warrant that you have obtained User Data lawfully and that the User Data does not and will not violate any applicable laws or any person or entity’s rights.

4. Limitation of Liability

U Group takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any User Data. You will be solely responsible for your User Data and the consequences of sharing or disclosing it in accordance with these Terms, which includes U Group’s use of such User Data as contemplated herein.

5. Intellectual property

You acknowledge that U Group retains all rights to use and retain all property in the User Data and other intangible rights it has.

6. Miscellaneous
6.1 Notice

You agree that any notice or communication we give to you pursuant to these Terms may be given to the email address we have recorded for you or by posting such notice or communication on our website at https://theugroup.co/receipt-panel (or by push notification on the App). A notice so given shall be deemed received by the intended recipient on the date the notice is sent or posted (as the case may be).

6.2 Alterations

These Terms may be altered by U Group by notice to you in accordance with clause 6.1.
